Compatibility with Both Balanced and Unbalanced Headphones

The Q5s continues to use the interchangeable amp module design of its Q5 predecessor and is fully compatible with previous FiiO amp modules released so far. The updated standard balanced amp module AM3E provides 3.5mm single-ended as well as both 2.5 and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs.

Strong Decoding Abilities

With the upgrade to the XMOS clock management system, the Q5s features robust decoding capabilities over USB, SPDIF, and Bluetooth. USB supports up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native hardware-decoded DSD. SPDIF supports up to 192 kHz/24-bit. Bluetooth supports up to 96 kHz/24-bit (through LDAC).

Thoughtful Materials

The back of the Q5s is made of a high-quality polyurethane leather. The three buttons and an upgraded volume knob on the side allow for an ergonomic and tactile way to interact with your music.

Intuitively Know the Details with Just a Glance

Each input mode is represented with a separate indicator light, so you can know what the status is with just a glance. Long-press the input selection button on the side to view how much battery is left according to four LEDs.

Audio Formats at a Glance

RGB lights also indicate the audio format being played. Six different colors quickly tell you which Bluetooth codec is currently being played through the Q5s . In addition, when in USB decoding mode, the RGB lights indicate sampling rate.

Exhaustive List of Outputs

Standard with the Q5s is the updated AM3E balanced amp module. It is built with a 3.5mm single-ended balanced output as well as 2.5 and 4.4mm balanced outputs. The device also supports line-out output.

The sandblasted all-aluminum alloy CNC chassis with rounded corners give the Q5s a pleasing look.
