What is it?

The Questyle QP1R offers a very refined listening experience with clean
delivery and top-class resolution. Notes sound full and fleshed out preventing
it from ever sounding clinical or digitally emphasized and without being

The QP1R’s chassis is entirely made out of aluminum that is machined on a
complete chassis processing line consisting of 8 CNC machines, and then
finished after a severe test of quality and craft. Finally QP1R is assembled,
tested and delivered under the highest quality standards by Foxconn.

The unbroken lines flowing with a smooth-faced design around the perimeter and
the hollowed-out protectors around volume knob demand for a sophisticated CNC
tooling and extremely precise craftwork.

Gorilla Glass is used for the front and the rear panels, reducing QP1R’s
weight while increasing its durability and technological aesthetics. The
curvilinear glass machining is quite demanding on processing. The assembly of
curvilinear glass superimposed on aluminum materials presents a severe test
for the CNC machining.

How does it work?

The Questyle Audio QP1 & QP1R’s support ALAC, APE, FLAC, AIFF, WAV, WMA
Lossless up to 24bit/192kHz and high-Res audio files such as DSD128 and DSD64
playback reveal far much more of the original sound performance of music than
that of Mp3 players or smart mobile phones .

As a Hi-End portable DAP, it converts the high level files as the studio
recorded them but at very low power consumption. Optimizations for system
operations, player programming, and digital audio circuit rebuliding &
reenginneering was required, and Questyle Audio ultimately achieved a
solution.

QP1R is designed with Questyle Audio’s patented “Current Mode Amplification”
technology and a pure Class A architecture. With output impedance of 0.15Ω and
high/middle/low gain settings, QP1R can perfectly drive anything from 8Ω in-
ear monitors like K3003 to 300Ω dynamic headphones like HD800. Inheriting
Questyle Audio’s 3x Clock Asynchronous Structure and patented “True DSD”
technology, together with Cirrus Logic’s flagship DAC chipset CS4398, QP1R is
able to retrieve even the subtlest details hidden in the deep of your music.
